Back to Battle PEX Halloween 2012
The Philadelphia Experiment (PEX) is a group of talented artist, performers and organizers who combine their vast talents and creativity to put on intensive interactive experiences. These experiences are not for spectators but rather all inclusive experiences where attendees are expected to participate in making the magic happen.
As such there are not very many places where you will see such a dedication of time, money, effort, sweat and blood on behalf of not only the PEX Crew as the hosts of the event but also of participants attending the event.
For those of you who don't know what the namesake of the Philadelphia Experiment Crew's name is. Here is a short excerpt from wikipedia.com:
"The experiment was allegedly based on an aspect of the unified field theory, a term coined by Albert Einstein.
According to the accounts, researchers thought that some version of this Unified Field Theory would enable the Navy to use large electrical generators to bend light around an object so that it became completely invisible. The Navy would have regarded this as being of obvious military value, and according to the accounts, it sponsored the experiment."
The PEX crew has constantly striven for new and innovate ideas to putting events on. So it seemed only natural that the 7th Annual PEX Halloween Ball would take place on a Iowa-class battleship docked in Camden New Jersey.
This is my collection of shots from that night on the Battleship New Jersey.Back to Battle PEX Halloween 2012 as the name implies this event returned to the infamous Battleship New Jersey.
These images are free to download for desktop wallpaper usage and sharing with family. I maintain a copyright on this work and all work on my site. I only ask in return that if you would like a printed copy of this image that you purchase it through my website. Sure you could just download the image and print it out. But consider that a portion of the proceeds from printing those images goes to paying the mortgage on my camera gear and web hosting costs so that I can continue to offer these images free of charge. Also my photo lab will send you a quality print on photostock paper, not just glossy inkjet paper.
NO guilt, no bad voodoo just an honest appeal to help keep the Photographer for the People operational. If you are going to download the images I ask that you do not remove or cover the watermark. This work is free to be reposted on the internet with attribution [leave my watermark on the shot]. Any other usage must be licensed.
Images printed from this site will be printed without the Diesel Photo Works watermark and will be printed from the original full resolution image.
Finally if you would like to hire me to shoot your event please do not hesitate to use my contact info on the HOME page of this site.
